National Native American Heritage Month Profiles: Ranelle Yazzie

Throughout National Native American Heritage Month, the AFL-CIO will be profiling leaders and activists to spotlight the diverse contributions Native Americans have made to the labor movement and toward expanding the rights of working people. Today's profile features Ranelle Yazzie, logistics program coordinator at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and member of the Professional Aviation Safety Specialists (PASS).

Ranelle Yazzie has worked at the FAA for 30 years. An active union member, Yazzie is chapter president of PASS Utah 3 and a PASS contract bargaining team member. She is president of the FAA's Native American Alaska Native Coalition. She is also a member of the Diné Tribe.
