Working Class Heroes: A Selection of Film Posters and Stills

This exhibition of posters and stills from 29 films focusing on workers' issues is on display at the AFL-CIO through November. It represents a range of Hollywood, independent and foreign films that incorporate workplace and organizing themes. Many of the films have helped bring public attention to important stories about worker safety, exploitation of immigrant workers, impediments to achieving union recognition and other critical issues. Many are also exceptional works of art. Here is an abridged version of the exhibit featuring 17 of the posters.
