Hillary Clinton Has a History. Of Standing Up for Union Workers

She's with us. Long before she starting running for president, Hillary Clinton was a champion for working people and the unions that represent them. That's why we're working hard to make sure she's the next occupant of the White House.

In this video from the Electrical Workers (IBEW), David Falletta, former Local 97 business manager, tells the story of utility workers in upstate New York who were in tough negotiations in 2004. The company, National Grid, wanted massive cutbacks and was threatening to lay the workers off if they didn't agree. That's when then-Sen. Hillary Clinton stepped in. Watch the video to see Falletta explain what happened next, which he describes as "a miracle."
