There Is Still Time to Sign Up for the Affordable Care Act (Deadline Jan. 31)

Let your friends and family, who may need coverage because they don’t get health care benefits through their jobs or Medicare, know that there's still time to enroll at Healthcare.gov or their state marketplace. The deadline is Jan. 31.

Despite President Donald Trump's promise to provide "insurance for everybody" that is "much less expensive and much better" with "much lower deductibles," his administration has greatly cut back the government’s efforts to let people know about getting coverage through the federal or state marketplaces before open enrollment ends Jan. 31.

The administration suddenly ended all outreach and advertising about open enrollment on Thursday, though it appeared to restart some outreach through e-mails and Twitter on Friday.
