Today's profile is Shenise Turner-Sloss of AFGE:
On Jan. 3, 2022, AFGE Local 1138 member Shenise Turner-Sloss began her term as Dayton City commissioner in Ohio—after winning her election by 53 votes on Nov. 2. She's only the third Black woman to serve on the commission. Turner-Sloss is from Dayton and works as a logistics management specialist at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
