Women's History Month Profiles: Angel Wells

Angel Wells

This year, for Women's History Month, we're taking a look at a group of leaders who are currently active making women's history across the labor movement. Check back daily for a new profile and meet some of the people working to improve not only their community, but also to improve conditions for working people across the country. Today's profile is Angel Wells of the Communications Workers of America (CWA).

Angel Wells is a longtime union member and community activist in Mesa, Arizona. Since 2019, Wells has served as the chairwoman of Local 7050's Human Rights Committee. She is also a Democratic Party state committee member and chairwoman of the Arizona Democratic Party Labor Council, where she prioritizes quality health care and education for Arizonians. Wells recently supported HMS Host workers on strike at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport for better wages and health care.
