As a dedicated member of California School Employees Association Chapter 724 and Teamsters Local 388M, Cook consistently challenges the status quo, advocating tirelessly alongside her union siblings. In her role as a senior cook for the San Diego Unified School District, she not only nourishes the minds of students, but serves as a beacon of inspiration and resilience, demonstrating that the fight for workers’ rights and community well-being go hand in hand.
