Letter Asking Senators to Support Recognition of Workers Memorial Day

Dear Senator:

I am writing today to ask that you join in support of Senator Baldwin’s upcoming resolution in recognition of Workers Memorial Day (attached).

This resolution, to be introduced on April 28, will once again honor Workers Memorial Day to remember workers killed or injured on the job and to renew the fight for strong safety and health protections.

Decades of struggle by working people and our unions have improved working conditions and made jobs safer, but it has not been enough. This year the Senate should come together to strengthen workers’ rights and protections to ensure everyone can come home safely at the end of a work shift—and without chronic illnesses from toxic exposures at work.

Please email [email protected] to sign your boss on to the resolution.

Sincerely,
William Samuel
