Working People and Allies Congratulate AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler and New Leadership
On Friday, Liz Shuler (IBEW) was elected president of the AFL-CIO by the federation's Executive Council. The also elected United Steelworkers (USW) International Vice President Fred Redmond to succeed Shuler as secretary-treasurer. Tefere Gebre will continue as executive vice president.
