Photojournalist Earl Dotter and AFL-CIO Safety and Health Director Peg Seminario will discuss Dotter’s newest book, Life’s Work: A 50 Year Photographic Chronicle of Working in the U.S.A. 

Earl Dotter is an award-winning photojournalist who has been documenting the lives of American workers for over fifty years. His work chronicles the occupational and environmental hazards experienced by workers from the Appalachian coalfields to those handling asbestos.

An exhibition of selected work will be on view in the AFL-CIO lobby Sept. 13 - Nov. 29, 2018, and is free and open to the public. The 250-page retrospective book, just published by AIHA Press, will be available for purchase.
