Statement from AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler on the passing of U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California:
I'm deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sen. Dianne Feinstein. Over her long and storied career in public service, Sen. Feinstein tirelessly worked to advance policies that aimed to improve the lives of everyday Americans. She was a trailblazer whose more than 50 years in public office left a lasting impression on countless Californians and Americans.
Sen. Feinstein will be remembered for her commitment to public service and her enduring contributions to the betterment of our society. My thoughts are with her loved ones during this difficult time.
