Today, the AFL-CIO concluded its two-day Executive Council meeting, which centered on issues facing working people and reinforcing labor's values and solidarity. In addition to voting unanimously to condemn President Trump's three executive orders attacking federal workers' rights on the job, the Council also passed statements in strong opposition of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and in honor of retired leaders.
