Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 1 members, who work as security officers at the St. Louis Lambert International Airport, have voted to ratify their first union contract.

Employees at Build-A-Bear Workshop at Union Station in St. Louis voted unanimously to join United Food & Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 655, making it the first unionized Build-A-Bear location in the country.

St. Louis-area union members held a rally and press conference Friday to hold Rep. Ann Wagner accountable for betraying working people by voting for the disastrous federal budget bill and delaying its cuts until after the 2026 midterms, when she’s up for re-election.

Members of the Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 4 ratified an agreement with St. Louis NBC affiliate KSDK that ends a monthslong boycott by the union. The new contract includes raises, new jobs and a guarantee to hire union members to replace retirees. Local 4 led a boycott of the station until a fair contract was secured.
