Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act

The Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010 reins in Wall Street's and Big Bank's dangerous practices and products that crashed the economy. Among other provisions, the bill improves accountability and transparency in the financial system, brings to an end "too big to fail" institutions, protects American taxpayers by ending bailouts and protects consumers from abusive financial services practices.
