Amendment to Repeal Prevailing Wage Laws

This amendment by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) to the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act, 2012 (H.R. 2354) would have repealed Davis-Bacon coverage for projects less than $20 million funded under this bill. The Davis-Bacon Act requires companies to pay construction workers locally prevailing wages on federally funded projects. The amendment failed.

This is Bad for working people.
