Red Tape Reduction and Small Business Job Creation Act

Jul. 26, 2012 | H.R. 4078
As part of their so-called "jobs plan," House Republicans offered a bill that would in effect ban any new federal regulations-from job safety to rules for big banks and public health- until the unemployment rate drops to 6 percent or less. The bill would put workers and the public in danger, stopping new safety rules to protect utility workers from electrocution and coal miners from black lung, as well as rules to limit the power of big banks and corporations. The legislation was approved.

This is Bad for working people.
