Continuing Appropriations Resolution, 2014

Sep. 29, 2013 | H.J.Res. 59
As the shutdown of the federal government loomed at the end of September, the Tea Party Republicans put forth a continuing resolution to fund the government in an effort to force the Senate and administration to roll back the implementation of the Affordable Care Act until 2015. This bill was not a clean spending bill to keep the government open, but was instead a politically motivated bill that led to the disastrous 16-day federal government shut down. The bill passed.

This is Bad for working people.
