The AFL-CIO supports the nomination of Lauren McFerran to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) for a second 5-year term. McFerran, a former aide to the late Sen. Ted Kennedy who chaired the Labor Committee, has been a diligent and respected member of the board during her first five years of service. McFerran’s nomination was confirmed on July 29, 2020.
