Nomination of Martin O’Malley to be Social Security Administration (SSA) commissioner

Dec. 18, 2023

The AFL-CIO supported the confirmation of Martin O’Malley to lead the SSA, a position that has gone unfilled for over two years. The SSA needs a strong leader, and former Maryland Gov. O’Malley’s experience and demonstrated competence make him a good fit for this position.

This is Good for working people.
