Amendment to Repeal Withholding Certain Payments to Contractors

November 10, 2011 | S. Amdt. 928 to H.R. 674
As part of the Republican attack on workplace, safety, environmental, and consumer protections, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) offered an amendment to the bill that would roll back or weaken many federal regulations, including a provision that would bar the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act. It also would express the sense of Congress in support of a balanced-budget constitutional amendment.

This is Bad for working people.
