The AFL-CIO supported the confirmation of Gwynne Wilcox to serve on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Wilcox will be the first Black woman on the NLRB in the agency’s 85-year history, and she brings to the board extensive knowledge of both the long-standing and emerging issues facing workers who seek protection under the National Labor Relations Act. The Senate confirmed Wilcox’s nomination on July 28, 2021.
