No Sanctuary for Criminals Act

This bill would cut off federal funds to jurisdictions that limit its cooperation with federal immigration enforcement agents in order to protect low-priority immigrants from deportation, while still turning over those who have committed serious crimes. The bill would punish “sanctuary cities” that commit to engage in sensible local policing and that work to end discrimination and racial profiling by withholding federal funding for critical public safety programs. The bill passed the House without amendment.
